You need do nothing at all, the call will find you. Being compassionate does not require you to go looking for it. For when we look we will find and then it is not pure. Live in the moment, there is enough suffering to go around. For compassion to be pure all that need be done is be available. Be there, you will know when it is time. When that moment shows its self to you be full of grace and have no judgment. Thich Nhat Hanh says “no mud, no lotus” we need the bad to help bring out the good. This is true for every human being that walks this earth. Be good to other because we need others to be good to us. We can all relate to suffering, and that is how we can bridge the gap between those who have and those who have not. To have compassion look into another’s eyes and see your own. For what we do to others shall be returned unto us.
